Episode 34. PERSEPOLIS (2007)

It's the discussion you've all been waiting for here on 24 Panels: two Canadian middle-class white guys giving their perspective on a Iranian's woman's memoirs. Persepolis is a coming-of-age tale about finding one's identity amidst war, repressive governments, religious oppression... and a thousand other problems that have never touched your thoroughly first-world hosts. We liked it, if that's any consoliation.

Episode breakdown:
0:00 - 23:00 :Intro banter ("Bog standard," another The Dark Knight Rises dream from Dru, and a wrap-up of the 2012 summer movie season)
23:00 - 23:37: Persepolis trailer
23:37 - 1:31:26: Main discussion: Persepolis
1:31:26 - 1:39:25: Closing remarks (Announcement of our next series: "The Value of Superman")
